Enlargement penoplasty:
The penis appears very swollen during the days following the procedure.
Showers are allowed from the next day. No dressing is necessary.
It is recommended to wear loose-fitting boxer shorts for the first few weeks, not briefs which could cause inadequate compression.
Time off work is usually not necessary.
The sutures are usually absorbed within ten to fifteen days, at which time healing is achieved.
It is advisable to wait two to three weeks before gradually resuming sexual activity, which is still possible once the anti-erection treatment has ended. The use of a lubricated condom will be appreciated in order to avoid any irritation.
Lengthening penoplasty :
Edema and bruising are usual after lengthening.
Careful local care will be taken daily for about ten days until complete healing.
A support panty must be worn over the dressings for two weeks to avoid any traction on the scar.
The sutures will normally disappear in ten to fifteen days, at which time healing is obtained.
Showers will be allowed again after complete healing.
It is advisable to wait three weeks before gradually resuming sexual activity.
A 5 to 10 day work stoppage is necessary depending on the nature of the professional activity.
