Breast lift Tunisia: what is a breast lift?

The breast lift (Mastopexy) also called breast lift Tunisia is a cosmetic surgery to lift the chest. This surgical procedure can help to improve the image and self-confidence of the patient. Breast lift Tunisia: what you need to know before you start

The first step in a breast lift is to make an appointment with the surgeon for a pre-operative check-up. A mammogram and a breast ultrasound will also be performed. It is important to note that the breast lift requires a complete cessation of smoking one month before the procedure, then 15 days after the procedure (until healing).

Procedure of the breast lift in Tunisia

The breast lift is performed under general anesthesia. The procedure lasts between 1h30 and 3h and requires 1 or 2 days of hospitalization.

The bandage put in place at the end of the breast lift procedure will be removed only after one to two days. It will be replaced by a lighter, more flexible bandage. A support bra must be worn day and night for one month.

It is recommended to take 7 to 10 days off work. Sports activities can be resumed after one or two months.

Possible complications

Concerning anesthesia: before any breast lift operation, the anesthesiologist is able to inform the patient of the risks associated with anesthesia to which the body may react in an unexpected and difficult to control manner. The risks of a breast lift in Tunisia are however low. Thanks to the skills of experienced anesthesiologists in the practice of cosmetic surgery, it is important to keep in mind that over the past two decades, the products, techniques and procedures used in anesthesia have really progressed.

Concerning the surgical act: the risks of a breast lift in Tunisia are isolated cases (but not null) if the choice of a plastic surgeon is made carefully and seriously according to his or her competence to perform such an operation.
